Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries, an industry leader for over 100 years is seeking a highly motivated, high energy, creative, innovative, results driven Cemetery & Funeral Sales Manager to lead a growing team of sales professionals in the Los Angeles Area. If you are ready to make a difference and make a team shine, this is the position and company for you! Responsibilities include achieving organizational goals, preparing & supervising the development of sales staff, and ensuring quotas are met. As Sales Manager, you’ll manage leads and be responsible for coaching our Advance Planners in customer service & satisfaction, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing skills, prices, terms, and contracts.
Additional responsibilities include:
-Achieve sales results/goals by training, motivating & coaching team of 10-15 Advance Planners
-Recruit and maintain high energy/high caliber staff
-Provide in depth guidance regarding sales techniques, legal requirements & policies and procedures
-Identify & fulfill clients’ current & future needs
-Review and evaluate staff performance
-Conduct sales meetings
-Work in the field with sales team
-Encourage open communication to create an engaged and effective team
-Motivate others to achieve beyond expectations
-Maintain company values & constantly demand high standards of ethics and conduct
-Understand the market, the client and the competition

Requirements
The Ideal Candidate will have:
HS Diploma, BS or BA preferred. 3-5 years sales experience managing direct consumer/personal sales, proven track record of success selling & managing a growing regional sales team that exceeds sales quota, outstanding communication skills and presence. Previous Industry experience a plus but not required. Must love to win and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Valid CA Driver’s License required. |
