Southeast Wisconsin Funeral Home Seeks Apprentice Funeral Director
Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home & Cremation Services is a progressive, family-owned firm located in Kenosha, WI. We are presently interviewing enthusiastic funeral director apprentice candidates.
Our firm serves nearly 300 families annually with the highest level of service and regard to every detail. We are proud that our commitment to personal service has earned us the reputation of being one of the premier funeral homes in southeast Wisconsin.
Upon joining our team, a qualified apprentice can expect exposure to all facets of funeral service while being mentored by licensed directors with over fifty years of collective experience. We offer flexible schedules to accommodate student apprentices enrolled at both Worsham College of Mortuary Science and Milwaukee Area Technical College. Wages and/or benefits are commensurate with experience; whether this is a full or part-time opportunity has yet to be determined.
The ideal candidate must posses an extraordinary work ethic and be service-oriented with the abilities to independently problem-solve and anticipate the needs of his or her director and team. All applicants shall posses a genuine disposition and take pride in their professional appearance. We will expect our apprentice to reside (or be willing to relocate) within a fifteen mile radius from the funeral home and be willing to work an on-call schedule of alternating evenings and weekends.
