| Description |
We are an independently owned funeral service provider in Salem, VA and are currently looking for a licensed funeral director/embalmer. The candidate for this position must be dedicated, have a strong work ethic, detail oriented, committed to giving exceptional service and have a passion for the funeral business and serving the families in our community. You must have experience and strength in working with client families and be eligible for licensure in Virginia (dual license, both funeral director and embalmer). We offer a very competitive salary, commissions on pre-needs, annual bonuses, benefits package to include two weeks’ vacation immediately, sick days, 100% employer paid health, dental, life and disability insurance, matching 401k, all license renewals and club dues paid, fantastic schedule working every third weekend with one four day and one three day weekend off with minimal on call nights per week, and a wonderful community to live and raise a family. |
