Hello, my name is Samantha and I just recently graduated from the Mortuary Science department at Kansas City Community College and am now on the search for a full time job where I can complete my apprentiship. I am very interested in any room you may have to hire an apprentice/intern at your Funeral Home. I may also be interested in any full-time positions you have available.
I’ve known I wanted to become a Funeral Director since I was fourteen. I started attending KCKCC straight out of high school on scholarship, made honor roll every semester, while also working full-time hours between my job and my practicum. I passed my National Boards and am certified with The Conference. Additionally, I am Cremation Certified by CANA. I earned my AAS degree and graduated in May 2010, with a 3.7(+) cumulative GPA and Honors. While attending school I completed my practicum at Quisenberry Funeral Home and really enjoyed the chance to be a part of a working Funeral Home. I learned and gained so much while there and am eager to find a job where I can do what I love and continue learning.
