To whom it may concern,
Why not advance your own career, while advancing mine, when you make the right hiring decision.
I have never been denied a job I really wanted. However, the best part is that the person that hired me looked very, very good in their choice because of the results I always delivered for them.
Over the last few years, I find that I am very comfortable working in the death care industry and would like to find a position within this field. I feel that I have the talents you are looking for to fill your position. I bring a wealth of experience and organizational ability that would lend itself to the type of position you are looking to fill. I am a team player who takes individual responsibility for closing the sale and reaching company performance expectations.
After spending a week early in my career, and on subsequent occasions with Zig Ziglar, he asked each of us to develop five questions that would show a prospective employer both inner creativity and the necessary qualities for a super salesman.
Following are the questions I composed:
Why don't they list sales positions under professional in the ads section of newspapers?
What happens to a salesman that becomes a typical employee?
There is an island in the Pacific where no one wears shoes. You sell shoes for a living. Is this a good territory or a bad one?
Who coined the phrase "he knows just enough to be dangerous?"
The answer is making soup.. What's the question?
I received an A+ on the assignment.
If you'd like to know how I'd answer these questions, and any others you might have, I would appreciate an opportunity to meet with you at your earliest convenience and show you how I can be the answer to your employee search.
I know how hard it is to find really good consultive sales people today. I bring many value addeds to the marketplace including: 100% travel and relocation flexibility, conceptual design with creative writing capabilities, public speaking gifts and management and leadership skills.
Sincerely,
John A. Sparacino
